Build drop downs with app builder.

I would like to formally request that app builder be modified to allow it to build drop down widgets that I could use in my other apps.

For example, I need a customer number drop down that I could attach to all my apps using customer number. I'd like it to be a ajax multiselect drop down grid (so I can use the grid's built ins like column sorting, filtering, select/unselect columns, etc). While we're at it, how about type ahead and some of the other useful features I may not know about?

Even better yet, how about a generic ajax mulitselect drop down grid method that I pass file and field names to and it builds and manages it dynamically?

I still believe in Santa. I've been a very good boy this year, so I hope Santa brings me what I want.

Thanks for your input. This request will be put on our master list of considerations to review during our next general developers meeting. I can not say at this time whether this functionality will be added or when.
