  • clearAllData property

I have a simple app with two grids side-by-side. The "carton" grid (on the right) is filtered when a row is clicked in the "pallet" grid (on the left).

I would like to clear the carton grid completely if the user takes any action that causes the pallet grid to reload (selecting a filter, clicking a button that filters, refresh etc.). In other words, I would like to clear the carton grid when a row is no longer selected.

I am using the clearAllData property on the carton grid, with an app variable "clearCartonList". I have this attached to nabDataSourceLoaded property of the pallet grid.

This seems to work great, except it does not clear the grid title or totals on the carton grid.

I wouldn't expect it to clear the title but I would expect it to clear the totals.
For the title, you would want to setup another app variable that is linked to your title and uses an "expression" that uses your "clearCartonList" app variable. If clearCartonList === true then set the value to an empty string.

We will look at the totals not clearing as this is a bug.

Thanks Sean! I was there with the app variable... I just couldn't think how to clear it. The NAB AI wrote the expression for me.

The totals not clearing will be fixed in the next update.
