Edit Grid Doubts

In an edit grid popup used for adding or updating records, we want two fields to change automatically when one field is changed. For example, when the Supplier ID is changed, the corresponding Supplier Name and Address fields should change automatically.

How can we achieve this behavior in an edit grid without writing a program?

As of now, you need to use a backend program. We have a feature request to implement new widget properties for edit grids. Once implemented, we envision that if you transform a field into a dropdown, you can link app variables to columns based on the combo selection, which can then set the value of a field when adding/editing.
