Counter based on rows selected in grid

Please see my image attached. When a user selects a row(s) in this grid, I need to keep a running sum of the Units (last column).
So if a user selected the first three rows the sum would be (4 + 1 + 21) = 26.
And I need to be able to display this somewhere so user can easily see. Is this possible?

This will keep the user from having to keep track of the total in her head or write it down...

We currently don't have a way to get that information; however, we will add the ability to link an app variable to a specific column if checkbox selection is enabled to get the total value of a column.

Then, you could display the value of the app variable in an info widget. We assume it will be included in the next update, but we will respond to this post once it has actually been implemented.

Thanks Johnny! That will be very much appreciated. Excel has this ability when you select multiple cells (if they are numbers) in a worksheet it will show you the sum and average and count of what you have selected along the bottom of the status bar. This would kind of be the same thing. very useful at times.....and especially in the app i'm working on.

We have implemented this for when a grid/edit grid has checkbox selection turned on and multi-select turned on. It will be available in the next 6.3 build. Thanks
