on pivot grid, position cursor to the record scanned

we have a pivot grid and below that a field that we scan a barcode label into. this calls a backend program which sets a date and then displays on the pivot grid The user wants the application (pivot grid) to automatically scroll down to the record scanned.

any thoughts. I wanted to take advantage of the focus row but i see that is not available on the pivot grid?

We don't currently have a way to automatically focus a row in the pivot grid

Unfortunately, it will not be included in the next release, and it's uncertain if or when it might be. Our current list of feature requests is quite extensive. Once we get to this one, we will need to investigate if it's even possible. Thanks
