default grid settings by user

is there a way to set default column settings on a grid by user in an application. for example user A doesnt want to log in every day and change her column sorts etc. Each user will have their own set of defaults as they dont want the see the grid the same way as someone else.

Grid & Edit Grids will save state if the columns can be moved/resized/hidden. The state will automatically get cleared if the widget/app is saved so the user will have to adjust the grid again to how they want it

With that said we do not save the sorting however we will look at possibly adding that to our upcoming 6.1 release
