  • HTTP Server stuck

Got the message below on the Valence4.1 http server running on our IBM i box

Receiver value too small to hold result.
Function check. MCH1210 unmonitored by VVSYSUTIL at statement 0000197800,
    instruction X'0000'.
The call to GETOUTQUEU ended in error (C G D F).

Anyone know what this issue is?

    Thanks!

It appears it may be choking on the details of an unusually large spool file -- do you have a file that is over 99999 pages per chance?

That would explain it then. We'll rectify this in the Valence 4.2 release next month. In the meantime, I'll send you a patch you can apply there to your 4.1 instance so it doesn't choke on the big files. I'll get that to you shortly.

ok, thanks! In the meantime, should I just cancel the job and restart the http instance?
