mixed case passwords

Our system is at QPWDLVL 3 and we use mixed-case passwords for compatibility with Windows policies.
When the Valence login method is set to IBM i mode, it is not possible to use mixed-case or lowercase passwords. Only uppercase is accepted.

Actually this has already been fixed on CNX's development system but it hasn't been rolled out into a maintenance release. It should be out in the next maintenance release soon.
