Thanks for the feedback. It's difficult for me to be sure what the problem was for you on this, but we'll do some testing of this scenario on our end and see if we can make some improvements for the next build.

The instance manager does not check QATMHINSTC, it uses Apache access API's. I think at a minimum we will try to make the error messages a little more meaningful on the next build. Like I think it would have been nice if the Instance Manager had told you that it could not continue because /www/valenceprd folder already existed. Thanks for the valuable feedback.
