If not can anyone recommend a good editor. Im more interested in smart syntax and closing functions(brackets, parentheses, commas, etc) than a wysiwyg. I spend more time closing functions than writing code. With handfulls of hair to prove it ...

You might have heard a rumor about Valence Nitro. This is an advanced JavaScript editor that gets you off of RDi/Aptana and lets you edit your code right through the Valence Portal in your browser. It just came out as part of Valence 3.0 BETA 3. You should install it and try it out if you haven't already.
