vvOut_file only works for files within system i

It seems like vvOut_file can only deal with IFS file actually resides within the i server, I've tried sending a file storing in a network folder (accessed via QNTC in IFS), but it doesn't do it.

Is this a bug or planned?

We've never tried doing this before so I'm not sure if it should work or not. Are you getting an error message at all? Can you check the job log of the CGI job on the back end to see if there are any messages indicating what the problem might be?

Sorry for the late response.

I finally found out that the problem is due to insufficient authority from the default user QTMHHTP1 to the PDF file, after using another user to run the job, it worked.
