  • Will 3.0 install a new instance of apache?

We have some production stuff in 2.x.

  • #2
Yes, you can install Valence 3.0 and it will have no effect on your 2.X installation. It will install a new library named VALENCE30, an ifs path named valence-3.0 and a new Apache server instance named VALENCE30 running on port 7030.

      Sorry to bother you again

We are going to install the 3.0 on an older machine for testing purposes. It's already has 2.1. Do you have a uninstall procedure for 2.1?

Or do you have a link or write-up on it?

Also, I understand 3.0 is in beta, will we need a new license for 3.x

Thanx, I cant wait to get started ...

        Uninstall instructions:

If you have an active support agreement with CNX you do not need a new license to use Valence 3.0.
