  • Cursor behavior in Numeric Field with formatting

    Working in version 6.3.20250708

There's a issue I'm running into when trying to enter a value in a numeric field that has formatting. I've applied the following formatting:

I noticed that when tab into the next field to enter a 'new' value (field is set to 0 by default) the cursor is placed directly before the 0.

    If I enter 20 it becomes $200.

If I remove the formatting then the cursor behaves correctly when I tab into the field. 0 is highlighted the user can enter without any trailing 0:

I have formatting enabled in a previous version (6.3.20250207) and it works correctly.

I can remove formatting as a temporary solution and it will work so that users don't inadvertently add an additional 0 to the value.

I noticed that in previous versions, when I use the mouse to click into the field (and the value is greater than 0), the number is highlighted and I can type to overwrite the value. now in version 6.3.20250708 the cursor is placed at the end of the numeric value and i have to backspace/clear the value.

    Thank you

Thank you for reporting this. In the next 6.3 update, it will automatically select the field value.
