When I copy a record that has date fields defined as *ISO the Nitro File Editor gives the following error:
SQLERROR. Checking Statement handle... SQLSTATE = 22007 Native Error = -181 Message = "Value in date, time, or timestamp string not valid."
I have the Portal Appearance date format set to DD/MM/YYYY because that's how users wish to see dates. The record date fields are defined as *ISO but show as DD/MM/YYYY in the Nitro File Editor correctly. It looks like the copy function does a "SQL insert" for the copy function but keeps the dates in the displayed format rather than converting to *ISO for the insert.
The update function in Nitro Fie Editor works correctly on this file with these settings.
