Right now, we have provision of hiding/unhiding existing column via appvariable, but its only true if the column is not set as hidden in the grid. Can we do the same for already hidden columns as well.
The Purpose of this is, we already have a grid and its used in many applications, now we want to use it in one more application but add few fields to it which are not already present in the Grid. Now what we have to do is add those columns to grid and change all other applications and make these fields as hidden using appvariable and keep it unhidden in the new app. If the other way round was possible, we could have added these columns to the grid as hidden and unhide them only in the new app. This would avoid the need of updating the existing applications.
