  • Working with library lists

    Hello all,

While setting up a production and a test environment, I noticed the method for entering a library list for an environment is difficult.

    I have several suggestions.
    1. Have a "subfile" so we can cut and paste from an EDTLIBL screen.
    2. Allow references to a JOBD's library list.
    3. Have a button to extract the library list from a named JOBD.
    4. Allow special values of QSYSLIBL (15 libraries) and QUSRLIBL (25 libraries)
    5. Make sure an implementation allows for at least 250 entries (maximum allowed user libraries in a library list).

By the way, we have 75 libraries in both our production and test library lists.

    Thanks...

Your post was for a feature request (and it did not pose any questions)....were you looking for some sort of answer?

Anyhow, I like these suggestions and we will see what we can do to incorporate any of them into a future release.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was suppose to ask a question in the "Feature Requests" section. I thought this section was for making suggestions for "Feature Requests".

Next time I'll pose my request as a question. (Kind of like Jeopardy, haha).

      Thanks...
