Behavior button actions currently will allow you to set filters and/or write a custom filter. These filters get 'added' to the filters set in the Grid settings.
It would be nice if we could clear a Grid-level filter, or somehow tell the custom filter to override the Grid-level filter instead of appending the custom filter to the Where clause after the Grid-level.
My use case is: By default, I show only open orders in a grid, so I have a grid-level filter on status set with an initial value of Open. I want to add a button to the app to allow users to "Show All", which basically means clear that filter on the order status so that Open and Closed records are loaded. Currently, users need to open the Filters pop-up and clear the filter manually.
Please let me know if you need more detail.
Thanks!
David
