  • Filter a dropdown toolbar filter based on another dropdown toolbar filter

    Hi,
I have a grid that has 3 toolbar dropdown filters, Customer, Brand and Order.
Is it possible that, when a selection is made on Customer, the filter Brand only shows the Brands of the selected customer and once a Brand is selected only Orders of that Customer/Brand are shown in the Order dropdown filter?
    Regards,
    Theo

    Hi Theo -

This is not currently possible with the built in user filters. However, this can be accomplished if you used a Form widget as your search.

Here is a link to a video that shows how to accomplish this using the form.

      Hi Sean,

Thanks, I watched that video. What it doesn't explain is how to connect this form with filtered combo boxes with a grid. Is that even possible?

      Regards,
      Theo

Yes, add a button to your form. Suppose the text for the button is "Search". When "Search" is clicked, you want to perform a "Filter Widget" against your grid.
