I posted this same question in the Valence 4.x forum and CNX gave us a solution for the 4.2 portal but I can't get that same solution to work in the Valence 5.0 portal.
We are utilizing kerberos for logins in Valence 4.2 and Valence 5.0. Occasionally we have the need to be able to log out and log back in as another user. You gave us a solution to add a forceprompt=true parameter to the portal URL to get to a login screen. This doesn't seem to be working in Valence 5.0. When I add the parm to the URL for our 5.0 instance that has kerberos turned on, it simply appends #main to the URL and bypasses the login.
These examples show the before and after URLs - the "after" URL being what appears after the Enter button is pressed on the "before" URL.
Valence 4.2
This:
http://ouribmi:6042/?forceprompt=true
changes to this:

Valence 5.0
This:
http://ouribmi:6050/?forceprompt=true
changes to this:
http://ouribmi:6050/portal/?forceprompt=true#main
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Eva
