Using Valence.mobile.Camera

Hi,

Until now I've only used NAB to create applications. Now we have a use case for adding photo's to a part entity.

The use case is

• select correct part from database
• add 1 or more photo's to this part
• add a reference (text) per photo
• upload these photo's to the IFS
• update database

Can this be done with NAB?
May be a nice topic for a Developer Diary?

Yes, this is possible with NAB. In fact, I believe what you are looking for was done in the Dev Diary #3 and #4.

Hi Sean,
Yes I followed these on YouTube. Learn't some lessons there!
But it didn't include using the mobile app and using the camera. Thats the part i am missing.

Hi Theo -

We will have to do a bit of setup/experimentation on our end. As of now, this would likely have to be done through the new "Execute Script" functionality. Yes, maybe a good developer dairy topic.
