  • Simple Order Entry (NAB) question

In the example Simple Order Entry application supplied with Valence 5.2 it is clear that the user can select an item to be used for a new order line from the widget: Item List (136). I would like to use a similar technique. However when expanding the Behaviors of the Simple Order Entry app, there appears to be no link to this widget or to the datasource: Items (28)? Could you please explain the link from Simple Order Entry to this widget?

I believe this widget/data source is used as a "lookup" field. Take a look at the "Edit" section for the "Order Line List" widget. You will see that the F1_ITEM column is configured to be a lookup field.

Thank you Sean. This was correct and a good lesson in understanding how NAB can validate against another master file.
