Banner or Session Set up

Hi,
We are trying to lure more end users into using CNX as the main window of usage. So, we were wondering if there was something like a banner or session set up where we could display seasonal stuff like "Happy Halloween" or Merry Christmas?
May be in Hook.js, pre-excecutable script ?

The most common way to handle this is to create a standard web page with whatever you want to display to your users. This can be basic html or with JavaScript and as simple or complex as you want. The page can exist within your IFS in a location accessible to Valence or on your public web server--anywhere accessible as a url.

Then go into Portal Admin-->Apps and create a new app with an App Type of Web Page (URL) and set the correct url on the path field. Then go to Portal Admin-->Settings-->Session Options-->Application to autostart, and set that new app to autostart. Make sure this app is authorized to everyone. Now, when people log into Valence they will see that page you created as the first thing. They can then go and open up other apps in the usual ways.
