Nitro Autocode and Sencha Architect

Having some difficulty creating a new file maintenance applicaion using Nitro Autocode. When I initially create the application, it works fine. When I try to edit the application in Sencha Architect, I eventually receive errors while saving - at this point my application no longer runs.

I'm on version 5.0.20160815.0 of Valence using Sencha Architect 3.5.1

When saving, I receive error: There was an issue communicating with the Cmd Server. Check to make sure you have the latest Cmd installed.

This morning... the errors are gone. I can currently save the application. However, all styles are gone. The application displays text and forms only.
