XLS vs XLSX

Brian,

I know you worked personally on the RPGLE program that creates an Excel when the user clicks the Excel icon on our grids.

Do you remember if you are creating an XLS or and XLSX?

We need to have XLSX's created, since some of our users are now trying to download more records than an XLS allows.

I cannot attest to the XLSX creation, but "our" work around for that is to create a CSV file, which you can add as many records as you like. The obvious drawback is not being able to control the formatting of the spreadsheet.
