Widget Height/Flex crossing sections

I have an app with two sections... Main and Detail. Each section has multiple widgets. When I set the flex height in the Detail section (one widget on 3 and the other on 2), it also changes the flex height in my Main section.

Also - I have a widget set to "initially closed" in my Detail section... however it is display upon showing that section.
