      This problem appears to stem from the update process, meaning it only affects sites updating an existing Valence 4.0 instance to the latest build (first time installers are not impacted). To resolve the issue, the VVDSSYS** objects in VALENCE40/QDDSSRC simply need to be recompiled.

      We will adjust the installation routine to handle this on the next update.
