vvOut (outside of portal)

Is there anything stopping us from using vvOut outside of the Valence portal? We have a separate webserver running, and wanting to use the vvOut_file to provide a download.

There's no restriction on using vvOut for any calls, even those that come from a non-Valence user interface. However, you should be aware that by default the only RPG program that is callable directly is VVCALL. To get around this requirement you can go to into the server instance configuration and add your RPG program authorization in a similar way that VVCALL is handled. Also, since VVCALL handles the library list you will need to manually set the library list in your RPG.
