  • Environment variable to bypass DTAARA

    Hi,
I have 5250 applications running with a lot of values in the DTAARA *LDA.
In Valence, that's not possible to refer to LDA.
My Idea is to have environment values (like in JAVA) or user values in their profile that could be accessed when needed (for example in Nitro App to build a sql with theses variables).
    An example :
A user belong to a company and a warehouse (In the LDA we have 02 and 63)
A SQL is made in 5250 to match theses values company=02 and warehouse=63
In NITRO we could have the same SQL for each user with company=ENV_COMP and warehouse=ENV_WAREH
Perhaps thats an other solution is existing in Valence ...

    Hi,

We do have a solution however would be a bit difficult to relay over the forums. Please email support and we can get on a goto meeting.

    Thanks
