  • Using Filters in Data Source

    Hi,
While adding filters in the data source(regular way and not the SQL way), is there a way to bundle two fields together?
    For example (Company = 1 AND Department = 990) OR (Company = 1 AND Department = 991) ?
All i can get using data source is (Company = 1 AND Department = 990 OR Company = 1 AND Department = 991).
I remember seeing this somewhere, but unable to re-collect.
    Regards,
    Pavan

For more "complex" filters like that you have two choices:

    (1) Enter the SQL for just the WHERE clause by clicking the "SQL" button in the upper right while on the Filters tab, as shown here:

    (2) Optionally, you could convert the whole data source to SQL by finding your Data Source in the main list and clicking on "Convert to SQL". Then you can do whatever you want with it there.
