Valence 5.1 Install Stuck

The Valence 5.1 install got stuck on me. I'm seeing message "Running remote command to restore the /valence-5.1 ifs path..." in ValenceInstall window for about 2 hours with no movement. The background job that ran vvinstall is gone with no output produced. I can see that library valence51 as well as folder /valence-5.1 are there, web instance is not.

Are you trying the install with the QSECOFR user profile? The most common problem with Valence installation is not enough authority. If you are already using QSECOFR check that the QALWOBJRST system value is set to *ALL.

It's set to *ALL in that system, and I was using QSECOFR. Is there a log where I could review the install history?

Check the log file located at /home/vvtemp/valencelog.txt for any messages.

Tried install again, same result - see attached. The Word file is a copy of what I see in the install window.

I have the following questions.

1. Is the rest of the process (web config, web instance start, and such) to be performed within the same QTFTP job that does Valence library, folder, etc.?
2. Understand that VVINSTALL source is unavailable, is FTP script available and is it supposed to produce an FTP log?
3. If we are unable to positively identify the cause for the failure, can the rest of install be run manually?

Can you paste the contents of /home/vvtemp/valencelog.txt right into a response in this forum thread? I see the contents of the Word doc (not helpful) but I don't see the contents of the txt files.
