2 Factor Authentication

I'm getting increasing numbers of RFP's and security audits that are requesting high security for portals that store Personal Information (PII). Salesforce.com emails a 5 digit number to the user which must be input before login is allowed to proceed.

Is two factor authentication on the radar for the portal?
